(KLZA)-- A September 8th jury trial has been set for a Falls City teen facing felony drug and weapon charges.
18-year-old Derek McCann pleaded " not guilty in Richardson County District Court Tuesday on two counts of manufacture, distribute or possess with intent to manufacture, distribute or deliver a controlled substance and a charge of possession of a firearm on school property.
McCann was arrested in April and is alleged to have had marijuana in his possession. When he was arrested, McCann allegedly had a shotgun in the trunk of his car, which an officer allegedly watched him walk to from Falls City High School to the school parking lot prior to his being stopped and arrested on the drug cahrges.
