(KNZA)--A preliminary hearing is set Wednesday for the third man arrested in connection with an April home invasion on the Kickapoo Reservation.
32-year-old Tyler “ Tiger” Banks made his first appearance in a Brown County courtroom Friday on five counts—including felony charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and criminal threat along with a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property.
Banks was extradited back to Brown County last week following his arrest at a residence in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He remains in the Brown County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
The other two defendants in the case, 35-year-old Westley Banks and 21-year-old Andrew Darnell, were bound over to Brown County District Court last week for arraignment on July 13th. Westley Banks is charged with seven counts while Darnell is charged with five counts.
Westley Banks, a former member of the Kickapoo Tribal Council, remains in the Brown County Jail on a $500,000 bond and Darnell remains held on a $100,000 bond.
