(MSC News)--Kansas State Troopers and Jackson County Deputies escorted the United States National Honor Flag through Holton Tuesday evening at approximately 6:20 pm. The Honor Flag named "Harwood One" was in route from the funeral of slain Omaha Police Officer, Kerrie Orozco who was killed last Wednesday while attempting to serve an arrest warrant.
The honor flag was escorted from Omaha to Lawrence where it will leave later to Colorado for the funeral of 21 year old Colorado State Patrol Cadet, Taylor Thyfault.
Tuesday evening, Kansas State Trooper Jeremy Harwood, the twin brother of slain Topeka Police Officer, Jason Harwood led the honor flag through Jackson County. The flag is named after Trooper Harwood’s brother, Jason.
