(KNZA)--A Holton man convicted of charges in two separate cases has been sentenced to more than 4-years in prison.
In the first case, Jackson County Attorney Shawna Miller says 33-year-old Bradley Stanley, Sr. was sentenced Friday to 32 months in prison on charge of burglary. The charge stems from the alleged sexual battery of a 16-year-old Hoyt girl last July.
In the second case, Stanley was sentenced to 20 months in prison on a charge of aggravated battery in connection with an alleged altercation with another inmate last August in the Jackson County Jail.
The sentences were ordered to be consecutively.
Following his release from prison, Miller says Stanley will be placed on post release supervision for 12 months.
Stanley pleaded guilty to the charges in March as part of a plea agreement. In exchange for the plea, charges of aggravated sexual battery, vehicular burglary and theft were dismissed.
