(KNZA)--A Brown County child sex case has been placed on hold.
That comes after a motion is filed by the court-appointed attorney for 19-year-old Bobbie Adrain Spomer, of Centralia, seeking a competency evaluation. A hearing on the motion hasn’t yet been set.
A preliminary hearing in the case had been scheduled this week.
Spomer is facing a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. According to the criminal complaint, the alleged sex offense involves a child born in 2000.
She was arrested May 1st following an investigation by the Hiawatha Police Department.
Spomer remains in the Brown County Jail, held on a $10,000 bond.
