(KNZA)--Two are in custody, but one remains on the run, following what's reported as a home invasion on the Kickapoo Reservation.
Kickapoo Tribal Police Chief Michael Dougherty says it happened Friday afternoon, involving at least one male victim.
Tribal Police were called to the scene, but the suspects had already fled.
However, 35-year-old Westley Banks and 21-year-old Andrew Darnell were later located and arrested for their alleged involvement in the crime. Banks is currently a member of the Kickapoo Tribal Council.
A 32-year-old man, identified as Tyler “Tiger” Banks, is wanted as a person of interest in the case, and is considered armed and dangerous.
Dougherty is asking anyone with information about Banks' current whereabouts to contact his office at 785-486-3665.
Westley Banks is currently held in the Brown County Jail, facing charges including aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, theft of property or services, and criminal threat
Darnell is also held in the Jail, facing charges of aggravated battery and theft of property or services.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office, Horton Police and the Sac and Fox Tribal Police Department all assisted with the case.
