(KAIR)--The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced a complete lane closure on K-92 over the Centennial Bridge in Leavenworth County.
According to a release from KDOT, both east and westbound lanes of K-92 will be closed to all traffic for bridge inspection work Wednesday from 9:00am-3:30pm. No marked detours will be provided and drivers will need to use an alternate route during the closure.
Alternate bridge crossings include the U.S. 59 Amelia Earhart Memorial Bridge in Atchison and the I-435 bridge crossing over the Missouri River in Wyandotte County.
There will also be a partial lane closure over the bridge Thursday from 9:00am-3:30pm. Both east and westbound lanes will be reduced to one lane, also for bridge inspection work. Flaggers will direct traffic across the bridge, and only minor delays are expected.
