(KLZA)-- A committee of Auburn Mayor Scott Kudrna and City Council members Rick Janssen and Chris Erickson will be meeting with Nemaha County officials to negotiate a new contract for law enforcement in Auburn. The meeting will take place later this month.
Mayor Kudrna says he feels things have went well since Auburn disbanded the Auburn Police Department and contracted with Nemaha County to have the Sheriff’s Office provide law enforcement in the community.
When the Auburn Police Department was dissolved, all of the officers became Nemaha County, Nebraska deputies.
