(KLZA)-- The Mound City Board of Education last week approved the 2015-16 salary scheduled for district employees at the same rate as the 2014-15 school year. Any increases are likely to be voted on in April along with extra duty assignments.
The Board approved a contract for Rachel Stanton to teach 3rd grade for the next school year. Probationary contracts were approved for current teachers Lori Butrick, Connor Dignan, Doug Freemyer, Emily Hamm, Lee McFadden, Sarah Osburn and Derek Petty.
Superintendent Ken Eaton informed the Board that discussions of the 275 Conference including the Platte Valley Conference in all activities are taking place. A meeting will be held April 9th for action on the proposal.
Eaton also reported April 1 is the date for contracts for services to be close to finished on the Mound City School building project. Once the attorney’s have reviewed the contracts, work will begin on the multipurpose room, HVAC and elevator.
