(KNZA)--A St. Joseph woman has been arrested in connection with a Sabetha burglary and theft case dating back to 2013.
25-year-old Courtney Seward was arrested Thursday on a Nemaha County warrant for aggravated burglary, burglary and three counts of theft.
Sabetha Police Chief Robert Wahwasuck says Seward was an alleged accomplice in a residential burglary in 2013 involving a theft from an attached garage in which the residents were home at the time. He says Seward and the other suspect also allegedly stole items from several unlocked vehicles in the area. Taken were a chainsaw, wallet and other items.
Seward remains in the Nemaha County Jail on $50,000 bond. She is also being held on a Brown County warrant for failure to appear.
