One Injured in Holt County MO. Crash
(KLZA)-- 47-year old Andrew Venneman of Omaha suffered what were described as minor injuries in a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 29 approximately five miles south of Mound City Wednesday evening.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, Venneman was southbound in a KIA Soul and slowed down due to an obstruction in the road. When he slowed a car driven by 25-year old Katie Shady of Lees Summit, Missouri struck the Venneman vehicle from behind.
Venneman was transported by the Atchison-Holt Ambulance Squad to a St. Joseph Hospital. Shady was not injured.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage. The wreck occurred at about 7:55 p-m.
The Holt County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the wreck.
