(KNZA)--The fourth candidate for the Highland City Council is now known.
That follows Monday's canvass of the votes from last week's Primary Election, held to narrow the list of candidates seeking two open City Council seats.
Three candidates were clear winners of the March 3rd primary, but two others, Selena Diveley and Dennis Lentz, were locked in a tie.
On Monday, the Board of County Commissioners, acting as the Board of County Canvassers, broke the tie by drawing Diveley's name.
Now, she will move on to the April 7th General Election, along with the three other top primary vote getters, Matt Peterson, Dana Clary and Rocky Ruhnke.
The Board's canvass of the votes makes official all results of the Primary Election.
