(KMZA)-- A Corning woman was injured over the weekend after she was struck by a vehicle.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department says 24-year-old Corning resident Skyler Brook was stopped on Atlantic Street in Corning early Saturday morning and stepped on the accelerator during an argument with the passenger in his vehicle. That caused his car to travel forward and strike 27-year-old pedestrican Cassandra Reveles.
Reveles was transported by ambulance to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca with unspecified injuries.
The incident was reported shortly after midnight just north of K-9 Highway.
