(KNZA)--The second of two rural Horton men convicted on charges in connection with a fight in October that left one man injured on the Kickapoo Reservation has sentenced.
21-year-old Robert Savago was given a suspended 13-month prison sentence Friday in Brown County District Court on a charge of aggravated battery and placed on 24-months supervised probation.
Savago pleaded “ no contest” to the felony charge in December. In exchange for the plea, a charge of domestic battery was dismissed.
Co-defendant, 48-year-old Robert Winsea, was also placed on probation last month on charges in the case.
The two men were charged in connection with a fight on October 25th at a residence on the Kickapoo Reservation that injured Aaron Savago. He required hospitalized treatment.
