(KNZA)--A vacant rural Hiawatha trailer house was destroyed by fire Tuesday evening.
The Hiawatha Fire Department was called to the structure at Kestrel and 220th Roads around 7:45.
Public information officer Jordanne Shockley said the trailer house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
Shockley said the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and the State Fire Marshal’s office will investigate.
The fire department was on scene until 11.
Assisting at the scene were Town & Country EMS, the Brown County Sheriff’s office , and Brown County Rescue Squad.
