(KMZA)-- A head-on collision on a Marshall County road Tuesday afternoon sent two Oketo residents to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened on Deer Trail Road about one mile south of Oketo shortly before 5.
The Patrol says a pickup driven by 45-year-old Jonathan Novak was eastbound and a car driven by 17-year-old Shayla Novak was westbound when they struck head-on in the center of the roadway.
Both were transported to Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville for treatment of unspecified injuries.
