(KLZA)--Two Falls City men are charged in connection with the theft of batteries from golf carts at the Falls City Country Club, appearing in Richardson County Court to answer to the crimes.
27-year old Joshua Choate is charged with three felony counts of burglary in one case, and a felony count of theft, receiving stolen property, in another.
Brian McFeeters is charged with three felony counts of aiding and abetting.
Bond for Choate was set at $600 and McFeeters bond was set at $1,500.
Batteries were stolen from golf carts, stored in three sheds at the Falls City Country Club, on or about January 25th.
Choate is accused of attempting to sell batteries valued at between $500 and $1,500 to a man in Falls City.
Both Choate and McFeeters are scheduled to appear in Richardson County Court later this month on the charges.
