(KLZA)-- The Humboldt-Table Rock – Steinauer School Board accepted the resignation of elementary teacher Deb Avery when they met this week. She has decided to retire at the end of the current school year.
A robotics demonstration was presented by Jamie Ankrom with the Extension Service, by teacher Darcy Weldon and several students during the meeting.
Updates on the school addition at the Humboldt site were presented and an executive session was held to discuss a property for sale. No action was taken following the closed session.
The HTRS Board also approved proposal to allow teachers to donate sic days to another teacher in the district.
Board members were also reminded to the FFA chapters barbecue fund raiser to be served Sunday from noon until 2 p-m at the Ag Building in Humboldt.
