(KAIR)--An Atchison woman, accused of facilitating the sale of a controlled substance from her home, appeared in court Wednesday where it was ruled that there was sufficient evidence to bound her over for arraignment.
53-year-old Brenda Castillo-Dominguez is next scheduled to appear in Atchison County District Court on February 27th, where she is expected to enter a plea to felony charges of possession of narcotics with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, no drug tax stamp, and use of a telephone facility to arrange a drug transaction.
Castillo-Dominguez and her daughter, 31-year-old Megan Billington were arrested last October after a police investigation determined they were selling the prescription drug oxycontin from their home.
Billington was sentenced Monday to 18 months in prison for the crime.
