(KAIR)--One person is dead after a shooting at a St. Joseph bar early this Thursday morning.
According to KQ2-TV, officers with the St. Joseph Police Department were called to the First and Last Chance Tavern, located in the 1800 block of Garfield Street just after 1:30. Upon arrival, they discovered that a 26-year-old male had been shot inside the bar.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Spokesman Sergeant James Langston says that police were able to arrest a 26-year-old male in connection with the shooting.
The motive, and the victim's name have not been released as the investigation continues.
