(KNZA)--The preliminary hearing for a Horton man facing child sex related charges in two different counties was postponed in one of the counties Wednesday.
The hearing for 20-year-old Dallas Bond was continued in Brown County to March 25th. Bond, who was a former dispatcher for the Brown County Sheriff’s office, is facing five felony counts in Brown County. He was arrested on the charges January 23rd.
Bond is also charged with six felony counts in Jackson County—including rape—involving a child under the age of 14. He was arrested on those charges Monday. Jackson County Attorney Shawna Miller says Bond is to make his first appearance in a Jackson County courtroom Thursday.
He remains in the Jackson County Jail held on $750,000 bond in the Brown County case and $100,000 bond in the Jackson County case.
