(KNZA)--A 20-year-old Horton man, facing felony child sex related charges in Brown County, is now arrested on similar charges in Jackson County.
Dallas Bond was arrested Monday on a Jackson County District Court warrant issued in connection with what Sheriff Tim Morse says was an August 2013 incident involving a victim under the age of 14.
Morse says it's alleged that Bond took the child, under false pretenses, to a Holton motel room where sexual offenses were committed.
Bond is now charged with rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, aggravated kidnapping, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and aggravated endangering a child.
Bond in the Jackson County Case has been set at $100,000, while bond in the Brown County case is set at $750,000.
Bond has been held in the Jackson County Jail since his arrest at his Horton residence on January 23rd.
In Brown County, where Bond previously worked as a dispatcher for the Sheriff's office, charges include aggravated kidnapping, electronic solicitation of a child, sexual exploitation of a child, identity fraud and felony theft. He is also charged with the theft of items from the Brown County Sheriff's Office, including handcuffs, leg irons, a taser, radio’s, and department shirts.
He's scheduled for a preliminary hearing on the Brown County charges on February 4th.
