(KLZA)-- Two Nemaha County, Nebraska residents suffered what were described as disabling injuries in a two vehicle crash on Highway 75 approximately three-tenths of a mile north of the intersection with Highway 67 near the Peru corner Saturday morning about 6:40 a-m.
34-year old Sara Pfaff of Brock was northbound on Highway 75 in a Chevy Trailblazer. 30-year old Tonia Greiner of Auburn was southbound in a mini van. Both were transported to the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn and then transported to a Lincoln hospital for treatment.
According to the report from the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office the Greiner mini van crossed into the northbound lane and went into a sideways slide. The mini van was struck in the drivers side and rolled onto its side after impact, trapping the driver inside.
Neither alcohol or drugs are suspected to have been a factor in the crash. Both drivers were wearing lap and shoulder restraints.
