(KMZA)--Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville has announced the appointment of a new Chief of Staff.
Dr. Kenneth Duensing was appointed to the position, effective January 1st. His term will run through December 31, 2016. Dr. Duensing is replacing Dr. Randall Brown,who served as Chief of Staff during 2013-2014.
The Chief of staff assists in coordinating the activities and concerns of the hospital administration, nursing, and patient care services with those of the medical staff; reports the needs and policies of the medical staff to the board of directors and the chief executive officer; presides and oversees medical staff meetings; and serves as a spokesperson for the medical staff in professional and public relations.
Dr. Duensing is a family practitioner with Blue Rapids Medical Clinic in Blue Rapids. He has been engaged in osteopathic medicine in the Blue Rapids community since 1983 and affiliated with the CMH Medical Staff since 1983.
