(KNZA)--A vacancy has been filled on the Morrill Township Board in Brown County.
On the recommendation of the township board, the Brown County Commission Wednesday approved the appointment of Brent Wikle to fill the remaining term vacated by Jim McKim.
In other business, County Treasurer Cheryl Lippold and HFED Director Kristen Hillyer met with the Commission to present information on the audit done by the Kansas Department of Commerce on the county's micro-loan program.
Hillyer and County Attorney Kevin Hill will reply to the audit.
