(KNZA)--A Topeka man faces charges following a single-vehicle injury wreck in Brown County Sunday morning.
Sheriff John Merchant says 20-year-old Ricky Jo Simon was eastbound on 150th Road, about a ½ mile west of U.S. 73, when his Nissan pickup left the roadway around 8. The vehicle hit a culvert and rolled into a ditch. Simon was taken to the Horton Community Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
He was later arrested on charges of minor in possession of alcohol, failure to report an accident, criminal trespass and criminal damage to property.
The case remains under investigation by the Brown County Sheriff's Department.
Assisting the sheriff's department were the Horton Police Department, Sac and Fox Police Department, Horton Fire Department, Horton EMS and Squad 48.
