(KNZA)--A successful “Shop Hiawatha” campaign for 2014 comes to a close with the winning numbers announced, and both prizes now claimed.
The lucky recipient of the $1,000 grand prize is unveiled as Hiawatha resident Valora McKee. She gained the winning ticket while shopping for a get well gift at Hiawatha's Just For You Jewelry.
The ticket valued at $500 was won by Hiawatha's Lisa Dodds Keller.
The announcement of the numbers was made Monday morning on Kanzaland Radio by Chamber of Commerce representative Beth Mikita.
The “Shop Hiawatha” campaign is an annual partnership between local businesses and the Chamber encouraging local shopping, with participating businesses providing consumers with tickets at the time local purchases are made:
