(KMZA)--Internet service to the Nemaha County Courthouse and county Law Enforcement Center will be upgraded.
Representatives of Rainbow Communications met with the County Commission this week to discuss the installation of fiber optic service to the two facilities.
Following discussion, approved the upgrade to a 50 by 5 fiber optic internet plan. Rainbow will install the fiber optic lines at no cost to the county. The county will be responsible for paying to network the different county departments together.
In other business, the Commission approved the appointment of Doug Garber, Dave Eisenbise and Doug Edelman to the Sabetha Rural Fire District #5 Board on the recommendation of the remaining members of the fire district board.
