There will be an informational Farm Bill Meeting hosted by the Jackson County Farm Service Agency and the Meadowlark Extension District on December 18th, at 1:00 pm at the Jackson County 4-H Building in Holton. Producers will be receiving information on the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs. There will also be a demonstration on the online decision-making tools that are available to producers. Learning more about ARC and PLC is very important for producers who must make a one-time decision about base and yield updates as well as ARC or PLC election and enrollment decisions.
