(KAIR)--The Atchison Police Department is investigating a vehicle burglary that took place over the weekend.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, Atchison resident Patricia Pescitelli reported that someone had made entry into her vehicle, parked at a residence located in the 200 block of East Riley Street sometime between 5:15-7:15 Saturday evening. Pescitelli reports that several items, including a laptop computer and an ipad, were removed from the vehicle.
The estimated value of the items is reported to be $1,500.
Police do not yet have any suspects in the case, but the search for leads continues.
