(KLZA)-- Flags art to be flown at half-staff on Sunday, December 7 in observance of Peal Harbor Remembrance Day.
Lowering the flag is a way to remember the victims and honor the heroes of Pearl Harbor. Many American service men and women lost their lives or were injured on December 7, 1941, and Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is an annual reminder of America’s commitment to a free and just world.
Congress has designated December 7 as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, and each year the President signs a proclamation ordering flags to be flown at half-staff.
