(KMZA)--The Alco store in Sabetha will join the rest of the Texas-based company's stores in shutting their doors for good.
On Thursday, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Dallas approved the company's creditors request to close down the remaining 198 stores in 23 states.
Alco in October announced that it had filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The company, founded in 1901, has 23 stores in Kansas.
