(KMZA)--Marysville City Administrator Rick Shain has received a contract extension.
The Marysville City Council this week voted 4-2 to extend Shain’s contract to June 16th, 2016. The Marysville Advocate reports Council members Vicky Gross and Dennis Schroller cast the no votes.
Shain plans to retire July 1st, 2016, although the city has the option of retaining him as a consultant to help train the next city administrator.
Shain is currently paid an annual salary of $67,434.
