(KAIR)--The Atchison Police Department is investigating three Friday morning vehicle burglaries from unsecured vehicles that are belived to be connected.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, the burglaries took place between 3:00-6:00, with two reported in the 800 block of South Eighth Street, and the third taking place in the 700 block of Y Street.
Various items, including jewelry, a calculator, a backpack, and pair of binoculars were taken from the vehicles.
Wilson says that police do believe that all three are connected with two similar vehicle burglaries that took place in the same area in the last week.
