(KAIR)--No injuries are reported after the weight of a combine, belonging to a Falls City, Nebraska based farming operation, caused the collapse of a bridge in Atchison County.
Atchison County Undersheriff Joe Butner says it happened just after 7:15 Wednesday evening when 30-year-old Salem, Nebraska resident Jason Snethen attempted to cross the structure in the combine. He was crossing the bridge, which crosses 238th Road just east of Ellsworth Road, when it collapsed under the weight of the combine.
Damage estimates for the bridge were not immediately available.
