(KAIR)--The Atchison Police Department is investigating a residential theft that took place over the weekend.
According to Lieutenant Tim Stout, 49-year-old Atchison resident Rebecca Whaley reported that a person unknown to her entered her home, located in the 1200 block of South Seventh Street sometime between 8:30-9:00 Saturday evening and removed a white gold ring.
Stout says the estimated value of the ring is $3,000.
There are no suspects in this case, but the search for leads continues.
