(KAIR)--Several Democratic candidates running for various offices in the upcoming November general election will be on hand for a public forum this weekend in Atchison.
The forum is scheduled to take place Saturday afternoon from 2:30-4:00 in the banquet room of Paolucci's restaurant.
Candidates scheduled to appear include Margie Wakefield, who is seeking to represent Kansas' Second District in the United States House of Representatives, Charlie Perdue, who is seeking the District One Atchison County Commission seat, and Jill Docking, candidate for Kansas Lieutenant Governor.
Democratic State Representative Jerry Henry, who is running unopposed in the election, will also be present.
The event is free, and everyone is invited to attend.
