(KAIR)--An Atchison woman is arrested on drug charges after police respond to a report of gunshots being fired Wednesday night.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, officers were called to a residence located in the 700 block of Washington Street just before 10:30. Upon further investigation a search warrant was obtained, and drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized from the residence.
An occupant of the home, 22-year-old Alicia Tercero was taken into custody at the scene. She was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges including possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wilson says the investigation into the shots fired report is still ongoing.
