(KTNC)--Falls City elementary school students are providing a boost to the SENCA Food Pantry during the school year.
Once a month, different classes at Falls City North and South Schools will have the choice to donate something from a list, consisting of various non-perishable food and personal hygiene items, to the food pantry. The voluntary activity is being used as a way to help the community and teach the students about citizenship.
Each class, kindergarten through 5th grade, will have a chance to donate three times during the school year.
Kindergarten and 3rd grade students will donate in September, December, and March; 1st and 4th graders in October, January, and April; and 2nd and 5th graders in November, February, and May.
