(KNZA)--A rear-end collision in Jackson County Tuesday sent a a Holton woman to the hospital.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office reports it happened when 49-year-old Mayetta resident Dwayne Hug was northbound on U.S. Highway 75 driving slowly behind an oversize load. That's when he was rear-ended by 23-year-old Samantha Swindale, who was transported to the Holton Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Hug and a passenger in his pick-up truck were not hurt.
The Holton Fire Department assisted with clearing the road of wreckage debris.
