(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners will conduct public hearings on a proposed $13-million budget Tuesday at 11 a-m that includes a tax requirement of $4.3-million. The proposed property tax levy is 33.64 cent per $100 of assessed valuation, which is a decrease of 2.8 cents.
In other business Commissioners will meet with Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert at 9:15 and review right-of-way acquisition for a project northwest of Verdon. Sheriff Randy Houser will meet with the Board at 10:15 a-m. The Sheriff is seeking approval of full-time employment of Julie Houser, the Sheriff’s wife as a dispatcher/jailer.
An executive session is scheduled with the Sheriff at 10:20 a-m to discuss personnel matters.
At 1 p-m the quarterly meeting of the Safety Committee will be held. Joe Miller with Miller-Monroe Insurance will meet with the Committee to discuss development of a safety manual.
