(KNZA)--The Jackson County Commission is proposing a 2015 county budget of nearly $13.7 million that calls for a slight property tax levy increase.
The budget contains an estimated tax rate of 73.664, which is to generate $7.3 million. The mill levy is up .795 mills over this year.
The budget includes a 5 percent pay raise for county employees.
The Commission will consider adoption of the budget following a public hearing on September 22nd at 10 in the morning in the Commissioner’s
