(KLZA)-- A person trying to pass themselves off as a representative of “Window” contacted a Falls City resident attempting to get access to their computer.
The person making the call asked the local resident to give them information that would allow them to access their personal computer. If that had occurred it would likely have enabled them to go through files and gain personal and financial information.
The person contacted called the Falls City Police Department and MSCNEWS wanting to make sure others are aware of such a possible scam attempt.
