(KAIR)--Atchison police say a stolen motorcycle is recovered, following a stop of the bike being ridden by a Lancaster man.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says the traffic stop happened around 8:30 Thursday evening after several alleged traffic violations were committed by 22-year-old Michael Chatman while traveling in the 800 block of Atchison's M street.
Police say the motorcycle was reported stolen in Lawrence last November.
Chatman was taken into custody on charges including possession of stolen property and possession of methamphetamine, which investigators say he had with him at the time of the traffic stop. Chatman is also accused of driving while suspended.
