(KTNC)--Truck drivers in southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas are encouraged to attend a seminar this month in Beatrice.
University of Nebraska Extension is sponsoring the seminar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, at the Extension Office Meeting Room at the Gage County Fairgrounds. Nebraska State Patrol Investigator Gary Bergmeier will be the instructor.
Topics to be covered include Interstate and Intrastate trucking rules, common truck inspection deficiencies, licenses and endorsements for various loads, and harvest trucking rules. There will also be time for questions and discussion.
Extension Educator Paul Hay says all truckers, including farmers, independent truckers, fleet truckers, and others interested in trucking regulations, are welcome to attend.
No pre-registration is required and refreshments will be available.
