(KAIR)--An Atchison County resident is being recognized for excellence in photography.
That comes as the Kansas Department of Agriculture announces the winners of the 2014 KDA photo contest.
Taking 2nd place honors in the Farm Faces division is Melissa Navinskey, of Cummings.
Her photograph, "Just Another Day On the Farm," earned her the award.
The third annual statewide contest received more than 350 submissions showcasing Kansas agriculture in five categories.
Winners in each category will receive $100 gift cards.
Navinskey's photograph, along with the other winners,can be seen on the KDA's Facebook page.
