(KAIR)--An Atchison man who allegedly took a financial card from an acquaintance is facing multiple theft related charges.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, the card was allegedly taken from the 20-year-old female victim in early June of this year. The theft was reported several weeks later when it was realized that the card had been used at several local businesses without her permission. Police initiated an investigation, and soon identified 20-year-old Diondra Oliver as a suspect. An Atchison County District Court Warrant was then issued for his arrest.
Wilson says Oliver was arrested in Jackson County Missouri July 20th on the warrant. He waived extradition, and was transported to Atchison County on Tuesday.
Oliver is facing one misdemeanor charge of theft, 2 misdemeanor charges of criminal use of a financial card, and one felony computer crime charge.
He remains in the Atchison County Jail on a $10,000 cash surety bond.
