(KAIR)--The Kansas Department of Transportation is warning Leavenworth County residents of lane closures over three area bridges as a resurfacing and repair project gets underway.
According to a release from KDOT, both east and westbound lanes of K-192 were reduced to one lane Monday over the Dawson Creek Bridge, the Stranger Creek Bridge, and the Stranger Creek overflow channel near Easton.
Traffic will be directed via signs and cones, concrete barriers, and temporary traffic signals. Drivers should expect some delays during peak commute times and may wish to use alternate routes if possible.
PCI Roads LLC out of St. Michael, Minnesota is the primary contractor for the neaerly $1.5 million project. The scheduled completion date for the entire project is November of this year, weather permitting.
