(KAIR)--Atchison police have made an arrest in connection with an alleged theft that took place earlier this month.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, an investigation into the incident, which took place on June 30th led officials to believe that 21-year-old Trevor Kiehl of Atchison allegedly removed cash from the home of an acquaintance.
22-year-old Ashley Mullins reported that the money had been taken from a cabinet in her home sometime that day. She reported the incident a few days later. Kiehl had allegedly been in the residence not long before the money went missing.
Kiehl was already in the Atchison county Jail when the new charge was filed, after having been arrested earlier in the month for violating probation.
