(KLZA)--The Falls City City Council makes another step forward in the allowance of utility type vehicles and all terrain vehicles on city streets.
City Administrator Gary Jorn says the Council on July 7th made revisions to the planned ordinance in preparing it for possible passage. “The Council approved a second reading. They amended the ordinance since the first reading to include no helmets are required for utility type vehicles if they have a shoulder belt and a lap belt. ATV’s are only allowed to be used from sunrise to sunset except when pushing snow.”
Jorn says the final reading of the ordinance will happen when the Council meets on July 21st. They will then vote to decide whether or not the ATV’s and UTV’s will be able to be driven on the streets of Falls City under the decided upon conditions.
